Lindsay + Travis + Lucy | Green Bay Wedding Photographer

I sometimes have a really hard time writing about my clients.  And mostly that is because I feel like their stories are theirs to tell.  So I was wondering why this one was easy for me to share and then I figured it out.  This is part of Maura’s story, I’m not even sure if Lindsay knows she’s such a positive part of that story, but it’s probably time for her to know what a great impact she’s had on our family.

Rewind, nearly four years, we were new to Green Bay and Maura had been going to daycare for about three weeks.  Lots of complaining from a three year old, turned into a chronically ill child who could barely walk.  Wes and I still had to work, so after about four weeks of time stopping, we got ready to go back only to be told by her current daycare, “We’d have to hire another person to meet her needs, we’re not going to do that.”  After everything we had just been through, this was quite the slap in the face.  We frantically started looking for a new daycare.  That’s when I met Lindsay.  Without knowing what we were going through or how we had just been treated, she just did what she does – takes care of all children with compassion.  Of course they could meet Maura’s needs, that’s what they do, they would love to have her, if they had too many kids – well, then, they just hire more people.  And the thing is, they did so much more than that.  Of course they took care of her, but they also showed (and still do) her so much love and compassion.  She took care of us when we needed it most, just because that’s what she does.  You have one great catch there, Travis – take good care 😉
