This is supposed to be a quick sneak peek, but I just had a really hard time truly narrowing it down. Oh well, I figure when there is this much beauty and pure joy, why not share more of it 🙂 Also, the dancing – they danced to “The Time of my Life” and certainly lived those lyrics as the night went on. There are of course many more to come!
The following photo is just a small snippet of the handmade centerpieces. They were all one of a kind and amazing.
I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved my time with these two. These images are some of my all time favorite and I am so excited to be with them on their big day!
Such fun meeting this family – I even got to go in Kangaroo Lake! Anything for a good shot 🙂 The time when kiddos are little is so fleeting, so even though there might not be perfect smiles, I think these pictures really reflect their warm personalities and the joy they have being together.
I cannot believe this is my nephew. When on earth did he get this tall and handsome?! I’m so glad we were able to spend the time to take his pictures up in Door County. I am definitely the luckiest aunt out there with all the wonderful little people in my life 🙂 Just last year, I was posting about another tall, handsome nephew. Both are such determined, focused, kind, and caring (and probably won’t talk to me anymore 😉 ). But I’d be doing Jake a disservice if I didn’t say how proud of him I am and all that I know he is going to go out into the world and accomplish.
It’s not often this size group of littles is so incredibly amazing for a photoshoot, they were so cute, cooperative and made my job easy. Such a bright, sunny, beautiful Door County day (helping me make it through this dreary day today 🙂 )
This little lady is my nephew’s cousin and she is just the cutest. So happy to spend a little time with her capturing her amazing little personality 🙂 (And seriously – the eyes on this one!)
I had so much fun with this family – smiles from start to finish (and cheese and grapes for a snack at the end!). They have such love and caring for one another, it was an honor to help them capture a small piece of that. 🙂
The beachy light and the joy and kindness of this crew made for an amazing session.
I can’t even begin to say how magical this session was. I think the overabundance of photos begins to capture that, but not sure anything physical could truly show the connection between these two. They haven’t found out if it’s a boy or a girl, but I know this baby is already so treasured and adored (and will for sure enjoy cookies 😉 )!
I’ve been lucky enough to capture this little lady for the last three years. She’s so full of energy and life – can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
